Pear Tree Barns, Suffolk

Brisco Loran obtained planning and listed building consent for the conversion of two barns to form a new low-energy home in Suffolk. The practice went on to produce detailed construction information before the project paused in late 2021.

Built with lime wood and glue, a 1:20 scaled model of the proposed mezzanine, stair, and roof structure was selected for inclusion in the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition 2022.
